There are are Kansas prairie meadows, there are woods, and then there is the magical place in between. This is one of those places. Faith always knew she wanted a summer senior session.
Her wish list included sunflowers, a creek, field of yellow flowers, and deep green woods. Right away I was seeing sun dresses and floppy hats, and the best of Kansas locations!
For my seniors who love the water – I may have access to one of the prettiest creeks ever! I love the blue green tones!
What is more fitting for a Kansas girl senior session than sunflowers?
Faith doesn’t just love sunflowers – she also had seen a photoshoot I did the previous year with acres and acres of tiny yellow flowers! While I estimate the bloom time each year – I was carefully scouting daily for the right spot as her session approached. When several familiar places did not have usual blooms I was nervous…. until I found in the most unlikely place – the most beautiful field of yellow flowers ever!!!
This photo was Faith’s Mom’s ALLL time favorite photo of the entire session!!! And really – I can see why! Faith – your kind heart and beautiful smile light up this meadow even more than the millions of yellow flowers!!
